The past 2 years have been a difficult time for many businesses, and we are no exceptions. In addition to the Covid onslaught, the reality of the current inflation is beginning to make its impact on many fronts. The recent spike in commodities, rentals and increasing uncollected and late fees are beginning to take a toll on our business, as we endeavour to pay our suppliers and teachers on time, every time.
The most challenging moment for us, however, is when our Landlord informed us that he would like to re-purpose the unit and we were given a very short notice to vacate. As we scramble around to find a suitable unit nearby, sadly there’s none that fits our usage profile and purpose. Hence, we are putting up the notice that we will be moving out of the Upper Thomson area.

Q: Where would EMusic Studio be moving to?
A: We’re not able to reveal the exact location yet because we’ve not being offered the Tenancy Agreement. However, the new location will be over 6km from our current premise. We hope to secure the new place in about a week’s time.
Q: When are you moving and what’s going to happen to our current lessons?
A: We will complete all outstanding lessons for Terms 3 which runs till end of September and the move is planned for October. We urge all students to avoid missing any lessons going forward because arranging any replacements will be challenging.
Q: Are your school’s teachers tagging along?
A: We hope so. They are given the option and so far we’ve received pretty positive responses.
Q: We do not intend to continue with lessons after Term 3. What’s the withdrawal procedure?
A: Please rest assure that any unused deposits will be returned in full by the first week of October. You just need to sign a withdrawal form prior to that. As a reminder, all deposits must be claimed within 3 months from the last lesson.
Q: I would like to continue having lessons at EMusic Studio. What do I need to do?
A: If you wish to join us at our (to be) newly renovated place, no action is required at your end. We will inform you of our new location within the next 2-3 weeks.
